Can I install mosaic tiles over flagstone? I have flagstone under my pagoda in my back yard. Is it possible to get a good outcome on doing my own mosaic over it with glass or ceramic pieces? If so what would you recommend?

ANSWER - Flagstone is a shape and not a specific type of stone.  It can be a sandstone, granite, slate or ?

Regardless, if the stone is properly installed and structurally sound then you could install a mosaic over it.  You would have to grind the flagstone flat or scarify it and adjust it with a patching mortar.
