For consumers drawn to a coastal-inspired aesthetic, CALI’s Longboards collection features wide planks, a light, natural color palette and a signature West Coast style. Longboards has been one of CALI’s signature lines for years, reflecting the relaxed feel associated with the brand. Now, CALI is introducing Longboards Icons, a new 12-SKU WPC collection designed to preserve the look that made the original popular while delivering greater comfort and performance.

“Longboards has always been quintessential CALI,” said Doug Jackson, CEO of CALI. “The long, broad planks feel expansive, and the colors and grains are open and easy-going — exactly the coastal look people want. Even the presentation is on brand: that surfboard display makes flooring fun and pulls people in.”

Rather than reinventing the product, CALI refined its signature oak visuals, softening the grain patterns to create a lighter, airier appearance. The 9-inch-wide planks feature premium woodgrain embossing while maintaining the smooth, driftwood-inspired visuals and natural color palette of the original collection.

Longboards Icons features a 14 mm WPC construction for added thickness and comfort. The product also includes an upgraded 22 mil wear layer for enhanced scratch protection, along with waterproof performance. Icons is designed for active households with children and pets, offering durability and a more cushioned feel.

“People want a comfortable space that feels like home. WPC delivers that,” Jackson said. “It’s a thicker, more substantial plank that’s more reminiscent of hardwood. It takes everything customers already loved about Longboards and makes it feel even more premium underfoot.”

According to Jackson, retailers can help communicate the benefits of WPC by encouraging consumers to compare products firsthand.
