The annual RēCo Market Intelligence Report has held strong for 17 years. Each year, Floor Covering Weekly commissions third-party research company The Wayman Group to conduct a nationwide survey of retailers. The Wayman Group is an independent marketing research and consulting firm with more than 40 years of experience.

For this year, fieldwork was conducted using an online survey methodology from March 2020 through May 2020. In total, 866 complete surveys from specialty floor covering retailers were received. The margin of error, based on 866 respondents, is calculated to be no greater than +/- 3.3 percent, a sufficient sample to ensure that the results reflect a true picture of the general opinions in the floor covering retailer universe.
