Import Prices Rose 1.2% in October

Washington, DC, November 16, 2021 – U.S. import prices rose 1.2% in October following a 0.4% advance in September, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported.
Higher fuel and nonfuel prices contributed to the October increase.
Prices for U.S. exports advanced 1.5% in October, after rising 0.4% in September and 0.3% in August.
