Hardwood Flooring Imports Declined 15% in June

Washington, DC, August 25, 2023 – In June, U.S. imports of hardwood flooring fell by 15% versus May, the second straight month of declines, according to the Decorative Hardwoods Association.

Imports were also down by 3.5% versus June 2022. Hardwood flooring imports from Brazil plunged by 60% in June to the lowest level since March 2020. Imports from China fell by 15%.
