Coverings, North America’s largest international tile and stone exhibition, recognized two Spanish projects in the Special Recognition category at the 2026 edition of the Coverings Installation & Design (CID) Awards.

Held on March 31, 2026, the CID Awards celebrates designers and installers for their outstanding and innovative use of tile and stone in residential, commercial and institutional spaces. Each project is evaluated on creativity, craftsmanship and the exceptional use of ceramic tile or stone within its categories.

For the 13^th consecutive year, projects submitted on behalf of Tile of Spain were honored at the awards ceremony. This year, Hotel Kimpton Los Monteros and Casa Marratxí earned Special Recognition in the International category, wowing the judges with their noteworthy utilization of tile across both projects.
